An academic transcript is a record of your academic study at the University of York and includes all available marks from all years of study plus your award date and award results if achieved.
Regardless of whether you have completed your studies or are a current student you should order an ‘Official Academic Transcript’ by clicking on ‘Add to Basket’ above. Once you have done so you will be asked to state whether you are a:
•current student who has not yet graduated or completed your studies;
•graduate/alumni who completed your studies in or after January 2010; or
•graduate/alumni who completed your studies prior to January 2010.
If you are a current student who has not yet completed your studies your order will usually take around 5 working days. If you completed your studies after 1 January 2010 your order may take around 15 working days.
If you completed your studies prior to 1 January 2010 then your order may take around 25 working days. Please note that we may be unable to produce a full list of module marks, and instead may provide official confirmation of the details that we hold on your record such as a list of partial marks.
We kindly ask that you do not contact us until the standard processing times have elapsed as this will cause delays. During our busy periods (May to August and December to February) it may take longer to process document requests.
If you would like your transcripts sending to a non-UK address you must also pay for mailing separately, by purchasing the product 'Mailing Fee' below.
A transcript is a list of modules, marks and credit values. As such, transcripts cannot be produced for research programmes (PhD, MPhil and Masters by Research) as these programmes do not consist of individual modules. If you are a research student you can order a confirmation of award letter using the link below.
