University of York Careers Fairs

We are delighted to offer the University of York Careers Fairs, 2026.

All York fairs offer you the opportunity to start a recruitment journey with us, while also providing a space to network with large numbers of students on one day. Our recruitment fairs provide an excellent opportunity to promote your internships, placements and graduate vacancies to high calibre candidates. 

• York Law Fair:  Wednesday 21 October 2026, 12:30 - 16:30 

• York Grad Jobs & Placements Fairs:  Thursday 22 October 2026 and Friday 23 October 2026, 11:00 - 15:00

Attendance for each individual day of the fair is £400 + VAT, or a discounted price for attending two days of the fair for £700 +VAT.  We also offer discounts for SMEs (£300 + VAT) and Registered Charities (£200 +VAT).  

All payments should be made via our Online Store.  Invoices are available on request, but please note that a £25 admin fee will be applied for raising an invoice.  

Your stand package will include:

• 2m x 2m pitch with electrical sockets and space for pull-up banners 

• Complimentary WiFi

• Lunch and refreshments for up to three delegates

• Support from our staff on the day

• Promotion to students on our careers platform Handshake, our web pages, social media and by email

Terms and conditions:

Once your payment has been confirmed:

• You will be sent full practical information for the day at least two weeks in advance, including top tips on how to make the most of your attendance at the fairs.

• Careers and Placements staff will be on hand in the run-up to the fairs to respond to any questions you may have. Please contact us by email at careers-employers@york.ac.uk

Please note our cancellation policy which asks that you please notify at least two weeks in advance of the event start date if you can no longer attend. If The University of York Careers and Placements team receives your cancellation by:

• Before Wednesday 7 October 2026 you will be refunded in full if a payment has already been made. If you have not made a payment, no liability for payment will exist.

• After Wednesday 7 October 2026, you will not receive a refund for payments made, and will be invoiced for the full cost of your booking if payment has not been received.

Payment

Please create a new customer account or login to complete your payment for the fair via our online store. Please note that unfortunately our online store does not accept American Express.

There will be a £25 administration fee for any payments via invoice. If you wish to pay via invoice, please contact us at careers-employers@york.ac.uk and provide us with your invoicing contact, address and PO number.
