Whether you’re an art lover, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique escape into the countryside, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an award-winning "Gallery Without Walls." Set within 500 acres of the historic 18th-century Bretton Hall estate, this international centre for modern art offers a breathtaking fusion of world-class sculpture and stunning Yorkshire landscapes
Discover the wonders of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park -
- Iconic Masterpieces: Wander through rolling hills to find monumental bronzes by Yorkshire’s own Henry Moore and the complete Family of Man by Barbara Hepworth. The park is a "treasure hunt" of over 100 outdoor works by world-renowned artists like Antony Gormley and Damien Hirst.
- A Journey Through Time: Explore the heritage of the estate, from the 18th-century Chapel (now a beautiful gallery space) to the romantic Boathouse and the hidden Shell Grotto. Don't miss the Stepping Stones across the lake for a truly picturesque view.
- Indoor Galleries: Even on a rainy day, there is plenty to see. Visit The Weston or the Underground Gallery to experience a rotating program of contemporary exhibitions, ceramics, and prints from international artists.
- Wildlife and Wellbeing: Beyond the art, the park is a sanctuary for nature. Keep an eye out for resident Highland Cattle, herons by the lake, and ancient trees that have stood for over 300 years. It’s the perfect environment for a relaxing walk to boost your wellbeing.
