Description

The twelfth UK and Ireland Speech conference will be held on the 16th and 17th June, 2025, at the Rob Cooke Hub, University of York. UKIS aims to bring together researchers within the UK and Ireland’s Speech Science and Speech Technology community, both in academia and industry. The workshop is an opportunity to share research with the speech community and to make connections and network. UKIS 2025 is organised by the YorVoice committee and Forensic Speech Science group at York.

The UK and Ireland Speech annual conference is a meeting of the UK and Irish speech technology research community. Its aim is to provide a forum where early career researchers in the area of speech and language technology can meet other researchers, present their work, obtain feedback, and form networks.
