Description

If you are a graduate of the University of York you can request certified copies of your degree certificate. You must provide a copy/scan of your certificate which we will stamp and sign to certify that it is a true copy of the original. The cost of this is £3, for this you will receive three validated copies.

We can only validate University of York award certificates and no other documents.

If you require multiple certificates validating (eg a BA and an MA) please purchase separate products for each.

Detailed Description

  • You must be in possession of your original certificate to request validated copies. The University does not store copies of past student certificates. You will need to email a scan of your certificate, which we will then print, stamp and sign to certify that it is a true copy of the original.
  • Within 24 hours of placing this order you must send a scan of your original certificate to [email protected] or a good quality photocopy to the Exams Office, University of York, York, YO10 5DD, United Kingdom 
  • If you do not have your original certificate and require a replacement then please see "Replacement Award Certificates" in the product catalogue for Registry Services.
  • This validation service is only for certificates - we cannot validate transcripts or any other documents . If you require copies of your transcript please see "Official Academic Transcripts" in the product catalogue for Registry Services.
  • Please note that your request can only be processed once we have received both your completed online order and a scan or photocopy of your original certificate. Processing time once we have received these is usually 15 working days. 
  • Please do not contact us to enquire about your order before 15 working days have passed.
