SMIF|UK is an annual conference, hosted by the University of York and the Griff Investment Fund, which brings together UK Student-Managed Investment Funds and industry professionals from around the world.

We are delighted to announce that the fifth edition of this conference, SMIF|UK 26, will comprise a one-day event taking place Tuesday 17th February 2026 at The Guildhall, York (9am - 5pm), followed by a networking drinks reception in Merchant’s Hall, York from 5pm - 7pm. This conference provides a unique opportunity for students to learn, network and gain insights into the world of investment management and opportunities from esteemed industry experts, engage in thought-provoking panel discussions, and participate in a “Stock Pitch” competition for a prize!
