Description

The crafts of letterpress printing and ghostmaking meet in this print celebrating the iconic shape of the original York Ghosts. The texts comes from the diary of J. Redferne, the bookseller who rediscovered Yorkshire’s ghostmaking legacy.

Printed letterpress and linocut on Fabriano Rosaspina Ivory 220 gsm with hand torn edges. Size 30x42 cm.

Limited edition print from an edition of 200 created at Thin Ice Press: the York Centre for Print in collaboration with the York Ghost Merchants.
