A non-accredited history of art course

Course Description

While many of the most famous artists from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries were men, a significant number of women were accomplished professional and amateur artists. The course will highlight key women artists, such as Angelica Kauffman and Julia Margaret Cameron, as well as less well-known artists such as Anne Seymour Damer and Mary Linwood. We’ll explore artists working within a range of disciplines, including painting, photography, sculpture and textiles.
