This course serves as an introduction to the ideas of the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900). Nietzsche's work spans a range of philosophical disciplines, including aesthetics, existentialism, morality, and ontology. We will explore core concepts from Nietzsche's writings, such as his critique of religion and his perspectives on the meaning of life, alongside more specialised notions such as 'amor fati' and the 'Übermensch'.
