Course Description

One of the most prominent Welsh poets writing in English in the twentieth century, RS Thomas stands out for his austere evocations of the rugged Welsh landscape, as well as for his searching religious poetry, and he also has a social-political dimension. In this course we will be looking to bring out the different aspects of his poetry.
