Introduction to Process Philosophy

A non-accredited philosophy/religion course.

Course Code

CLL 23/24_NA_171
Course Description

This one-day course introduces the fields of Process Philosophy and Process Theology. Focus will be on the remarkable thought of Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947) and on a variety of his more contemporary followers. Process philosophy and theology offer new ways of thinking about human experience, the universe and God. Attuned to contemporary science, and with vital roots reaching back to the ancient insights of East and West alike, these movements of thought are of unquestionable relevance for a pluralistic and post-modern world.
