A non-accredited philosophy/religion course

Course Code

CLL 23/24_NA_177
Course Description

What rights do you have? Is there a right to life, to healthcare, to education? Are there rights to free speech and free movement? What about a family life, trans rights, gay rights? Is there a right to die? And do animals have rights? Do trees? There are questions too about different sorts of rights. Are these moral, legal or human rights? What are the differences? And how does having rights connect with doing right? Can it ever be right to go against someone’s rights? Or wrong to do what you have a right to do?
