This course introduces the philosophical realm of existentialism, through the works of prominent existentialist thinkers such as Søren Kierkegaard, Gabriel Marcel, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Albert Camus. Existentialists have tackled profound questions such as, "What is the meaning of life?", "Why is there something rather than nothing?", "Is there a self?", and "What is death?". These are questions we ponder about as humans, and in this course, we will explore how to approach these inquiries through an existentialist framework.
