Course Description

Family history is one of the most popular hobbies in the UK with many people tracing their family trees back into the past, looking to discover who their ancestors were, and how they lived. This study day is for beginners to genealogy. It will introduce you to the various sources used for British family history research such as censuses, civil registration, newspapers, wills and parish registers, and show you how to use them.
