A non-accredited history and heritage course

Course Description

Almost 100 years ago, Russian armies drove west across the Ukraine to invade Poland and threaten Western Europe. The ultimate victory of the Polish Army over the numerically superior Red Army in the ‘Miracle of the Vistula’ is relatively little known and its importance imperfectly understood. Why did the Soviet leader Lenin attack the new Polish state? How did the Poles survive against the odds? What were the consequences for Poland, the Soviet Union and Western Europe?
