Detailed Description
Implementation Science addresses one of the biggest challenges in health and social care today - how to improve the delivery of interventions and care in routine practice.
This online CPD module will enable you to develop critical skills in implementation science so that you can lead change in key advanced & chronic care issues such as shared decision-making, advance care planning, and medication management. You will have the opportunity to learn from experts in advanced & chronic care through lectures, small group work, and online activities.
What will be covered?
- Implementation challenges in advanced & chronic care
- Stakeholder engagement in intervention design and delivery
- Using Behaviour Change Theory for intervention development
- Using the Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services (PARIHS) framework for implementation strategy design and evaluation
- Using Normalisation Process Theory for implementation strategy design and evaluation
