Course Description

Social psychology is the study of how individuals are influenced by others. This module aims to introduce students to key topics in social psychology, primarily considering the contexts of social interaction. We will explore attitudes and the way attitudes are measured, groups, conformity, prejudice (and how prejudice may be changed) as well as the theories of aggression and antisocial behaviour. The module will also help students to critically assess the research methods used in social psychology.
