Course Description

Jeanette Winterson is one of today’s most celebrated novelists, an author who challenges herself to find new ways of expression through the written word. Winterson’s work is permeated by personal honesty and worldly wisdom; it also cleverly blurs the line between confessional autobiography and experimental fiction. In this course, we will examine Winterson’s life and fiction to gain a better understanding of her unique contribution to literature and her worldview as a champion of art and poetry.
