Course Description

Who was Jack the Ripper and who killed the princes in the Tower? Was there really a curse on Tutankhamun’s tomb and who was buried at Sutton Hoo? This module will use the skills of historical detection to unravel ten famous historical mysteries. Investigating primary and secondary source materials, we will determine the historical facts and analyse how and why the mysteries have been represented in secondary retellings.
