Course Description

What do breeders do to obtain the elite crop varieties (the cultivars) that are grown today? If you enjoy growing plants and are curious about some of the scientific principles used in plant breeding, this course may be a good starting point for your exploration. And you might even be inspired to try and put some of those elements into practice: could you breed your own cultivar?
