Course Description

The exponential growth in the demand for fossil fuels, together with declining resources and environmental problems, have led researchers to seek alternative energy supplies and technologies to produce energy, fuels and chemicals from non-conventional and renewable sources. Given this scenario, this course will provide learners with a clear and basic understanding of how different processes and combinations of processes could be used for the transformation of different biomass wastes into useful products.
